Foley Cartoon Assignment
Project 4



​Part One
  1. Watch the video numerous times and work on the Cue Sheet.
  2. Every visual action in the video must be included on the Cue Sheet.
  3. The Cue Sheet will include time stamp, action on screen, sound effect & any notes you need to make.   ​

Part Two​
  1. ​Make the sound effects needed for your video.  
  2. All sound effects must be created by you!
  3. No pre-recorded sound effects can be used. 
  4. Sound Effects can be recorded on your device and/or in the lab using the USB microphone
Part Three​
  1. Download the video from YouTube
  2. Bring the video into MIXCRAFT
  3. Delete the original audio track.
  4. start adding your original sound effects 
  5. Remember they must match the time stamp on your cue sheet
  6. This will take time. Don't rush through this step!
Part Four
  1. Once your video is completed with sound effects properly lined up, create a music bed for the video.
  2. Create a music using loops or recorded tracks.
  3. Think about how the music compliments the video (Fast - Slow - Loud - Soft - Style)
  4. Make sure the music is appropriate to the video.
  5. ​Your final project should represent a cartoon clip that is unnoticeable as a student made production.
