UNIT 1

For this section you will learn the basics of general live audio recording. You will be recording using microphones and your own personal devices (cell phones)

UNIT 2.5
|
In this assignment you are going to create your own Podcast/Radio Show! The topic can be anything you wish. Sports, Movies, Books, Music, Cars, Bikes, Fashion Show, School Clubs/Sports, Other classes at PHS.

UNIT 3
|
Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film, video, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. You will explore the different ways to create Foley Sounds and to use them appropriately

UNIT 4
|
For this project, students will take a short cartoon clip and add their own effects and music. The cartoon will be about 1 minute in length and all original audio will be removed, so that the students will be able to create their own original music & effects track.

UNIT 5
|
For this project, students will take use Mixcraft and create FOUR seperate music files. Students will create music examples that showcase FEAR, SADNESS, and HAPPINESS. There will also be a final culminating music project that reflects all three emotions in one piece of music.

UNIT 6
|
The Same Scene 5 Ways video is the same scene showed 5 times. Each time the music changes to create a different mood/theme.
In this assignment you will do the same. You will create 5 separate moods/themes. What moods/themes you compose are your choice. Each one MUST be different. |
UNIT 7
|
In this project, you will choose a video game trailer/clip. You will compose ALL music & sound effects for the clip. NO ORIGINAL VIDEO GAME MUSIC, EFFECTS, and DIALOGUE SHOULD BE USED.
